This is a great thread and I find myself making parallels to other aspects of life (like school, delaying it's completion because I don't know what I will do when I am done). Anyway, I have 5 collectable bikes now and 2 are on their way, they won't be perfect restorations but hopefully I can keep myself occupied by searching for the small things they need to make them perfect, like a better saddle, that period correct rear dearailleur, the 27.0mm campy seatpost, the cinelli track bars and stem, not to meantion completeing things that have been sitting around for months (i don't want them to turn into years) like lacing up those various record hubs to tubular wheels. I SHOULD have a lot to keep me occupied. I don't want to have another holy grail!! On with the riding, I must take a break from collecting.
