Be sure to contact me if you are ever assigned to Madigan. We will go riding together. A high percentage of physicians assigned to Madigan or Naval Hospital Bremerton as their last duty station end up staying in this area. In fact, we have hired three physicians this year alone who finished their service committment/retired from the local Army or Navy installations. We don't have anything against the Air Force, but McChord has a very small hospital and medical staff, and they send all the referral stuff to Madigan. So we rarely see physicians leaving from the Air Force in this area.
