Bikes: Cannondale CAAD8 with Ultegra/105, Ksyrium Elites, Powertap Pro, Toupe saddle, and Thomson X2 stem (gotta have something Thomson); Felt F65, Trek SU200, Trek 7300 FX

Tightened front derailleur clamp too tight. Ill effects?

Last night when I was swapping 105 and ultegra front derailleurs between bikes, I later realized I tightened them down waaaay too tight. I backed them off this morning to the right tension, but I'm wondering if I might have weakened the seat tube or the derailleur clamp by doing so.

Both bikes are aluminum. One is Cannondale CAAD8 and the other is 2006 Felt F65.

Does any one normally tighten their's down waaay tighter than torque specification dictate, and if so do you not normally have any problems?

I should mention the threads were fine and I didn't notice anything popping, denting, cracking, etc.
