I understand bike mechanics...just never been interested in SS stuff untill now.

What are cheaper singlespeed hubs? And do they make any that come with the sprocket already attached?

Pista bolts are what again? For the front? I looked around for the definition of that term and couldn't find it.

The idea of just taking off the derailures/shifters and leaving the cassette alone seems tempting. Though I thought it would still try to shift with the other gears...
