Wow, I will not say that B.D. bikes are the same quality as a true custom or a top of the line name brand bike, but I would challenge you to ride one for a week or two before making comments that you know how unreliable the frame is.

I have an I.F. that I bought at Bikes Direct last year. I have just less than 1800 miles on it, and I have had no problems. I have replaced the Chain, Chain Rings, and Cassette do too wear. I actually really enjoy riding this bike. I also have 1996 DEAN, and Trek 1500 that I believe is about two years old that I got for a really good deal. My opinion is this bike way out performs the Trek and is at least as nice of a ride as my DEAN.

I think it is funny that people keep posting bashing forums about B.D. bikes, because it shows how much useless information is in these posts.

Oh just one last note; I get more compliments while riding the IF then I do riding the DEAN or the TREK. I am not saying this is a better bike, but it rides nice, has very nice components, and did not cost several thousand dollars. Plus the great thing about riding bikes is there are two elements; the bike and the motor that pushes the bike. If you want to show that the name on the frame does not matter; improve the motor that is pushing the bike and pass them. Plus only the person that is riding the bike even knows how the bike feels.

I encourage the bashing, about B.D. MSRP marketing, but you should lay off the quality until there are actual B.D. riders posting bad B.D. reviews about the bikes.

I have not read one yet!
