It's interesting to see that LCIBrian chose to ride on the bike path and not in the roadway. What prompted that choice for this experienced California cyclist?
1. Traveling with another cyclist who wanted to use the path
2. Wanted to see the path first hand (I've already driven on Storrow Drive numerous other times)
3. Midday on a weekday, so less bike/ped traffic on the path
4. Not in a hurry to get from Point A to Point B
5. Headed eastbound to the Harvard Bridge, much easier to do so on the path than to deal with the extra crossings and left turn movements (assuming Storrow Drive were legal)
6. Storrow Drive probably illegal for that section anyway
