At only 18g, you could buy several of them and cover your entire helmet and not even notice the extra weight. Personally, I just have one set showing through the rear of my helmet vents.
It's cool looking but I can only imagine replacing batteries on it would be expensive. It's prolly too late now, but I bought battery powered LED Xmas lights from Target. I can see wrapping those 18 bulbs around one's helmet and get noticed. They don't blink though...
