Get the Fuji finest. Kick it around for a couple of months. Use it as a learning bike. By the end of that time you would have a good idea of what you want in a bike and would either:

a)Decide that the fuji is enough bike for you
or
b)Realize that $1500+ for an ultra light carbon fiber bike is totally reasonable.
