old style: tips of brake levers are even with the handlebar drops

new style: handlebars are positioned a couple of inches lower, but the brake levers are positioned on the upper half of the bars

Note that if you have "anatomic" bars with straight sections, you are very limited about where you can place the levers. Moving them too high will make the brake levers hard to reach.
