WOW! I have not seen a Raleigh that nice since they were new in the shop!

Dunno what Kurt is going to tell you but I would highly recommend Schwalbe Marathon tires for the trip. They make a high quality touring tire in the 26x1-3/8 size. Also just as a back up you can still buy that sized tire a Walmart in a pinch.
