i need some advice.. i have been doing more and more commuting on my bike and am looking for a decent front brake setup. i bought a bmx setup thinking i could make the lever work but the lever is extremmly poorly construced as well as its the wrong clamp diamiter for my bars (standard road bar diamiter).so i was looking around and someone on ebay sells the bartop levers but its like 50$$, a little more than im looking to spend.im wondering if anyone has a source for a good quality affordable bartop lever.does anyone know if a mtb lever will work? what about the inline bartop lever nashbar sells? would that work asa stand alone? i do not want a road lever with a hood. any advice would be rad.
