belfast-biker, if you're suggesting that this is a victimless crime, then I would recommend you consult a local psychiatrist. Regardless of your perceived minimal loss to Oakley revenue, it's criminal and frankly I'm amazed that meltable has the cajones to hock his wares here.
Bac, you can view Mike Parnell's actions in a variety of ways. Maybe he considered it a calculated risk. Maybe he thought he would get some good press. Perhaps he was even using it as a way for his company to change insurance providers. Personally, I view it as remarkably magnanimous. Really, who bets on an advanced cancer patient becoming an athlete superstar?
