A few years back when I knew a bicycle-friendly cop on the local police force, this would have been the way to go. These days the local police aren't so apt to cooperate in instances like this, anymore. Rest assured, however, that I have contacted several local attorneys that are cyclists, and defend cyclists in civil and other cases. I'm certainly not going to sit back on this one.
