during races like the tour, you've got upwards of 20 bikes that need to be washed every day. it's your job to make sure they get cleaned, amongst a million other duties the race mechanic has. if using a pressure washer means you can save even 3 minutes per bike, thats an hour you've got in the bank to get a few more of your tasks done.
