-15 C here in the morning... or so the web said. Didn't feel that cold though, maybe because it was very calm. As opposed to a few days back: -10 C with very strong winds felt more like -30 C... Today is just so beautiful: a bright sunny day with white freshly fallen snow reflecting the sun's glow and making everything even brighter. Feels like spring despite the cold!

Too many layers: overheated slightly. Some little roads are really quite unpassable if you have slicks, but feel very nice with my front knobby: like doing cross-country skiing on a bike. I should really go skiing... Hey, anybody with a car in the GTA, wanna join?

As I was riding today, I kept repeating the motto I read on BF recently: "Pain is just weakness leaving the body". Works like magic! Just as you wanna slow down, tell yourself this - and much to your surprise you'll find yourself speeding up.
