46 degrees here and 6:30am, off for my daily commute to the airport. during my 3 mile commute this morning I did see only one walker out. For the past 4 years on my commute, I see this lady a lot. Of course that early in the mornings, it is dark and it is just a hello as I pass by.
On the ride back to the house at 11am, I came to an intersection where the coppers had the road blocked. I was thinking as I approached that it was probably an accident, but they had the traffic stopped for an approaching funeral procession. It was about an eighth of a mile away yet and it looked really long, so I went on across and kept on riding. I was about a mile and a half down the road when I started to see the traffic again.
It's nice to cross a busy road when the traffic is real light. Some times it takes a few risky minutes to cross this road. Today was a smooth commute. Rain tomorrow is in the forecast, so I may get to take a day off.
Happy Biking!
