Bikes: the ever shifting stable loaded with comfortable road bikes and city and winter bikes

hehe. semantics and pedantism, mr head. whatever. I forgot to mention the steely eyed glares, the hed nods, the cheek waggles, the ear wiggles employed by some master cyclists in their pursuit of conspicuity.

got any other myths you'd like to dispel? How about the misleading A&S myth....."every road not prohibiting slow moving vehicles is safe for bicycling."

if you want to slice and dice semantics about traffic cycling, I'll ask first if you've been riding today. It's just an off topic question.

I tend to save my slicin' and dicing for actual riding on the roads, the ebb and flow of traffic that is not a problem if vehicles pass and repass each other. Passing and repassing other vehicles is a common roadway occurance. Personally, cars split lanes with me, I split lanes with cars.

You split lanes, dontchya, mr. head? Can you pass moving cars (on your bike, not the RV) in narrow or marginally wide lanes of congested traffic if you're going faster than they are? I am pretty sure Traffic Jammer and I are on the "PASSIN' THE CARS in their lane" level of VC-uber cycling.
