When I was young in the 60s and 70s I was so straight, I was odd. I didn't do any drugs except aspirin and never touched alcohol until I was of legal age. I remember going to beer parties in college and only going there to play chess.
That's not to say I don't drink now, I do. Not much though. I like a good wine. I will drink potent potables that I've never tried before. And I will drink a beer or two after a game of golf. But I don't drink and drive, except maybe on the course.
Caffeine in the form of Pepsi is my addication. I'm down to one can a day now though. I probably should stop drinking that stuff, but it just tastes so good....
I don't think I'll ever even try any illegal drugs, I need all the brain cells I can get.
