Hi, I'm new to the group. Garagedude will be my username. I'm 51 yrs.old and starting over on my riding hobby. At one time I was a really strong rider. I started out on a mountain bike riding with the local road club. I quickly learned I wanted a road bike. The last time I road I was riding a carbon fiber Specialized Alez and loved it. My last good ride was the entire Blue Ridge Parkway in the Smokey Mountains. My job changes made it impossible to ride. Now my job is much better so I'm needing to ride again to get back in shape and maybe help my heart and lungs get back to the way they were when I was riding.
