Can you sand the sides of the post and the inside of the seattube and just use the old one that you got out?
I'm just going to get a new tube, the on in there and the one I can shim in place are both the older crappy tubw styles. Not woth the hassle I think as the saddle I have to go with the post is old and not to comfy after 10 min or so of riding.
