Hey chephy same here. After a few days off and riding in a winter storm (not really a storm, more like flurries). I've cleaned my bike twice! And this is my crappy (free) mountain bike commuter that I promised I would not worry about. I blame the bike stand I bought it makes working on the bike really easy, i've been cleaning and adjusting (with a $5 used bike repair book) and the darn thing is now so smooth during my commute it's like "new".
I really think this bike repair thing is addictive...that and riding..
Todays commute warmer than yesterday, using new chain lube (all weather) that makes me feel better.
Probably gonna give it another wash on Sunday....Arggggg!
