I remember thinking about how I couldn't believe anyone would pay $1,000 for a bike. It just didn't make sense, not only was a bike not worth it at the time $1,000 was a whole lot of money! Well, things changed. I got more into the sport, rode a couple of nice bikes and found out how nice they felt and rode. I was hooked. Not only that but my financial situation slowly changed as well. I got to the point that I could actually afford to have some nice toys and not take food off of the table. So why not, I work my butt off so why not spend money on things that I enjoy.
