70's - early 80's European / Italian steel frame & fork or full bike. 56-57cm ctc. Open to different brands, but interested in something unique and/or rare in the US.

To Lotek: yeah, those brands would certainly fit the bill. Though I wouldn't pass up an old Pinarello or Colnago either!

To Cyclotoine: American builders are welcome as well, however they often go for more $$$ than I have to pay out on this little project.
