i had the exact same problem with a b17 narrow on a campy aero seatpost. it looked nice but i sucked it up and bought a thomson, which allows you to put it more than level if needed. but like everyone else mentioned, it is common to begin with the saddle tilted back to break in and also not to slide down on a fresh brooks. my only problem with the tilt in my still fresh brooks is when i'm in the drops it aint too comfy for down there.
