Great work! You're gonna love your CC! It's an awesome "do everything" bike. Make sure that you take it easy on the paint. In my experience, the powder coat with no clear coat will pick scratches easier than a frame that's been clear coated.

I think your price is right in there - I don't think that $1500 is bad at all. I spent about the same on mine. Mine is a mix of Dura Ace and Utegra, King HS, Pauls brakes (Neo Retro/Touring), carbon post, K Force Carbon cranks and egg beaters. During the season I have Michelin Muds on it and it's a pit bike for 'cross racing. Now the season's over, I swapped the 'cross gearing (38/48) for compact (34/50) so that I could ride the fire roads up on Mt. Diablo. It's my favorite bike.
