I've been looking at them, but it hasn't gotten really cold for weeks as of yet.
I used hippos on the mcycle in northeast winters for about 5 years. Hands on the mcycle get far colder than hands on the bcycle, so yes, they work great.
Of course, the real benefit on the mbike is that your bare hands (or nearly bare hands) can still work the controls. You dont have that worry on a bbike; 'specially a fg bbike. Getting some big 'ol fat mittens would be just as good.
