Advice was what the OP asked for. And your's seems to be do without a car unless you need one, then get a car. And my, you DO live simply if you can move a family of three's complete household goods in four trunks. I take it you and your family don't own any furniture, appliances or anything bigger than a breadbasket; or you do have a lot of money to buy a complete new set including cribs, playpen, bicycles, appliances etc. at every stop in your travels.
Oh, incidentally, we don't hold with western child restraint. no cribs, no playpens, appliances are pretty much a blender/fp combo and a juicer.
And honestly, it would be one more trunk now- *maybe*- we've pared down some since but Leifr is now 3 and has some stuff he doesn't want to get rid of, and more clothes. Of course, he's a separate passenger these days and could have his own 2 trunks if he wanted.
I *did* forget that we shipped ONE bike back. Apologies. That probably makes us complete yups. Generally I tinker with bikes too much to hang on to them. What's the fun?
