Now I want to buy a winter home somewhere in the south - and my criteria is somewhere where I can enjoy biking from Oct to Mar - not too hot, certainly not too cold. After a weekend visit with my wife to Charleston SC, i think the area is a real possibility. I'd love to hear from others on where they chose to live, what the biking is like, why it is a good place for bikers etc.
