Yep, I did 35 miles or so on the road first. I was just having fun on the ice today seeing how much traction was available. If we would ever get some snow and ice on the trails, I would gladly use them for what they are intended for!
If you ever do knock out a stud they are easy to replace.
People have been having trouble buying them now I hear.
Don't throw away old stuuded Nokians the studs don't get shorter, they sink into the tire more. The studs are salvagable.
