I think the OCR was a good choice for you. I have a 2006 Giant OCR Composite Limited model and have been very pleased with it. Like you, I also have a fused L-4-L5 and wanted something a little more upright and with a little more relaxed geometry. I tried riding the TCR and it was slightly uncomfortable for me.
