There is no con here. I don't see how my purpose could be any more transparent. I'm just trying to identify what the underlying belief differences are between those of us who feel bike lanes cause more harm for cyclists than they solve, and those who support them. The apparent reluctance of folks to answer this question is very interesting. The defense of people in cars passing people on bikes with the same indifference as they have for passing people in cars in adjacent lanes is quite astonishing.
