Well there were some dark days for Campagnolo post Tullio, but at least the stuff can be rebuilt.
Shimano had many vaporware spare parts, and currently some stuff is not repairable... "no, I do not want to buy a whole STI shifter"...
Biggest mistake... thinking the 50th group was too garish for anyone to want.
