Check out Solux museum-approved MR-16 bulbs. These are high-color-temperature (ie, almost pure white) bulbs for lighting artworks. Available in 35W and 50W, 38 degree floods to 10 degree spots, 4200K-4700K. The higher the K the whiter the light. Typical MR-11 and MR-16s are 2925-2950K. I have ordered a 35W, 4700K, 10 degree spot from lightbulbsdirect.com. Once I have hooked it up and tried it I will make a report.
Regards,
Raymond
