Discovery has a challenge for fans to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation - you pick a rider on the team and pledge a dollar amount per race mile they ride in the season. Big donors and random participants win prizes and all the money goes to the LAF so they can send cancer survivors to the Ride for the Roses. It's a fun way to get involved for a good cause and follow pro cycling at the same time.
Considering how much they ride thats a lot of money!
