I rode a pair of Adidas "casual" shoes for a while... they were walkable, but after a couple of months I wore through the sole and the brass cleat wore out prematurely. They only had laces and were not very tight. Now it's Sidi's all the way for me. The only annoying thing is when you walk, people can hear you coming and you might impale your girlfriends roomates foot and/or your friends toe at a venue....
