well, the dry rotted tires on the rims currently on the bike are 700x38, so it's safe to say 700x35 should fit
not sure what kind of bike it is other than Schwinn, the paint is pretty bad, but still a good looking bike, definately a comfort/hybrid bike, I think Schwinn called them "cross" bikes back then
