I wish I could help you out Na975, but I can't financialy justify it at this time. If you still have it in about 6 months then I would take it Get rid of that shimano stuff and would be a great bike

You coudl just pull off the inner and outer chain rings.. get a White industries Eccentric hub and a cog and you would be set.. you would still have the cable guides etc.. but those are hardly noticeble.. and to get rid of them would mean a repaint since woudl mess up the paint job..
