And yes there is a reason the lever is inverted, Tecktro levers like to hit my knee's and take pieces out, so I'm using a front lever flipped over so the smooth part is on the bottom. I snapped the regular brake cable, this dérailleur cable was all I could find on short notice. I doubt it will hold long and you can bet it will fail at the most inopportune time.
