OK C&V'ers. How's this for a plan for this Serotta:
Forget modern Campagnolo for the moment. I think the Gazelle will remain the planned frame for that build. But I have something even better in mind:
1) Paint the frame a darker metalic red, Serotta decal in probably white with black outline.
2) Put the cleaned up Campagnolo Super Record group back on it.
3) Move the fluted seatpost from the Gazelle over to the Serotta.
4) Mount my Honey Brooks B-17 on top of that fluted post.
5) Wrap my Cinelli 66-42 bar with a set of Brooks Honey leather wrap.
6) Run tubulars with traditional tan/skin wall Conti tires.
Sounds like a show stopper of a ride to me.
