I don't know whether you did or not.

Video often flattens terrain a great deal, unless you're shooting from a very low angle (i.e. not helmetcam).

I have some video from the ride that wasn't used (climbing) where I'm fully red-ringered and barely maintaining traction/keeping the front wheel down and it looks like I'm riding on a flat, mellow trail.

Also, my helmetcam footage is typically much less bouncy/shaky/epileptic than many other vids so the roughness of the trail surface can be deceiving.

So I guess that yes, you missed some tech stuff.
