I gave up on them because they were too delicate as far as puncture resistance goes (admittedly, I used the non-puncture resistant ones, but still). Also, I found the foldable kind too be too easy to take on and off the rim and that made me nervous about tire mishaps on corners and downhills.
All of my last tires (veloflex, vredestein fortezzas, these) can be are all easily mountable by hand (onto variety of box rims)... no bad luck on high speed descents yet! <knock on wood!>
hopefully the K protection on these be worthwhile!
