One of the absolute worst things about Ebay is when the new buyer feels compelled to outbid everyone in small increments, so that there are 30 bids from 3 or 4 bidders on an item that should be cheap.
Even worse it two newbies bidding against each other. Sadly, that never happens when I am selling.

I sold a 1978 22.5" Trek TX-500 Ishiwata 022 frame for $331.00
I was completely floored. Two bidders w/ a total of 16 feedback between them. The paint had plenty of scratches and while in good shape, it was a rider not a museum piece. The paint was a bit of an odd color for a Trek kind of mint green think mid 60's GM paint color so maybe that had something to do with it.
