One thing you probably can't see in the photos are the really stout chainstays. They may be an inch in diameter. Helps to make the rear end very solid. While this bike doesn't feel quite as snappy as my Calfee, it is more mindless in its manners, which is what I spec'ed. It's very responsive too, just not twitchy.
I requested a very similar build. Mine is a 58cm ti crown jewell and came in at 3 1/2 lbs. Very stiff, no flex issues. Not quite as responsive as my CAAD7 Cannondale nor is it twitchy like the Cannondale. What size did you get and how much did it weigh? I believe mine weighs as it does because they beefed up the chain stay area for added stiffness.
