No, its an incandescent bulb. I don't know the wattage, but it's probably very small.

I ordered a pair of the Optronics driving lights that use MR-16 bulbs. They should be in today. In one I am going to use a 10-degree spot 35W Solux lamp that produces very white light.
I feel the same way about your Optronics driving lights. I wish I had known about them beforehand. But that's ok, your victories are my inspiration for future upgrades!
