You'll have a spacing problem in the rear (your hub is 5mm too narrow). Not a big issue, but I can't remember if the DA 7700 rear hubs will take a new axle and spacers. If so, this an easy conversion from your old rear MTB hub.

The other thing to consider is that your Timberline is probably 8-spd, so if I'm not mistaken, your 9-spd cassette will fit fine. You may not need to swap rear derailleurs either.

You're going to want to move your road bars over there to bring the brifters with them, so you'll have to look at your stem situation to fit them.

The cranks aren't likely to fit (rub right chainstay) unless you can get a wider octalink BB.

Please correct me where I'm off here. I'd just start doing it and see how things turn out.
