Hello fellow two wheelers!
Just thought I would post a thread to see what kind of numbers the DC area has on this, the "
NORTHEASTERN" side of BF Regional section.
Pretty simple here, Please post in this thread, if if you live within a 50 mile radius of downtown Washington D.C. Add your name to this list below. This inlcudes BALTIMORE, MD, as that is only 35 miles up the road from Washington. Ill start it with me. The next poster to post just adds thier name, and location.... and so on.
This list should make it fairly easy to send out PM's about event threads in our local "MIDATLANTIC" area to other members here, since we dont really have a "MIDATLANTIC" Forum.

I posted this in another thread but im going to copy it here:

Alexandria, VA Old Town here.
I think they should make a new forum here and call it "Mid Atlantic" to encompass Baltimore metro area, D.C. metro area, all the way down to Richmond VA, and the rest of VA/MD/DC/DE/WV, over the to coast. The most logical places for breaks in "regions" are usually between Richmond and Raleigh to the south, and between Philly, and NYC to the north. however I have often seen the n orthern break occure south at the MD/PA state line so Philly was grouped in the NE.
I think in terms of bringing local people / events together, its probably MUCH better to have a "Mid Atlantic" region. As it is, the slpit in this forum splits a major metropolitan area of 6.2 million people, right down the middle (Washington D.C.) metro area, and thats not including populations of more than 50 miles ouside of DC, nor baltimore or richmond.
Any mods/ admins here that could look into giving us a "Mid Atlantic" forum for the geographic regions listed above, as opposed to splitting an area of 8 to 10 million people right down the middle?
I think it would be a very smart move.
