They left the UCI only because iShares pulled their sponsoship and no other company would sign on with them (the fact that this was their NINTH rider to test positive had a greater effect than just Floyd testing positive). They had no sponship, i.e. ZERO money, so they had to fold. Had nothing to do with whether Floyd was guilty or if the lab had been sloppy or made mistakes.
