I went on my 1st ride on the rebuilt bike. Well not counting the the test ride when I picked it up. I was too busy flipping levers and checking this that and the other to realy just sit back and enjoy. But.... this morning was a different story all together.

I went over to the Silver Comet Trail with my wife. We only had 30 minutes to ride before having to go.
But for 30 minutes it was like stolling around in the park. It wasn't so much as what I noticed about the bike but rather... it was an extension of me that required no thought at all. Does that make sense to anyone?

Anyway 55F and sunny with no wind when we got there. Could you ask for better weather?


Later my middle son and I went back and did 1hour and 30min

He's anxious to get to work on rebuilding the Peugeot Marseille. I'll be wanting help with that. So look foward to a lot of dumb questions.
