I am thinking about trying to install an SPD cleat onto some old skate shoes. I can put the cleat more near the front and when I ride platforms I usually ride with the middle of my foot on the pedal. I have hybrid pedals so it's totally feasible to me. I understand that the stiffness (or lack thereof) wouldn't be ideal, but I can deal. Shoot me down.
