Regular short reach brakes. The bike came with unmarked silver brake calipers (I guess they were roughly Sora-level). It now has silver 9-speed 105 calipers and salmon Kool-Stops. For some reason my frame memics older steal frames even though it is an Alum model from '00. It has a Cro-Mo fork with good clearance and eyelets and has eyelets and rack mounts on the rear as well. My fenders are the full coverage SKS which work fine with the calipers.
